Supporting the people around us who are experiencing poor mental health has become a priority for many people and the organisations they work in.

By developing a greater understanding of common mental health issues, as well as how best to support and guide someone experiencing poor mental health, Mental Health First Aiders play a vital role in reducing the stigma associated with mental health in the UK.
Intended Audience
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid Training MHFA in the Workplace (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for those who would like to become a Mental Health First Aider in their workplace.
This qualification raises learners’ awareness of mental health and develops an understanding of how to support, reassure and signpost colleagues to professional support.
Overview
Throughout this 2-day course, learners will develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to actively promote positive mental health in the workplace by covering a range of topics, including:
- Understanding mental health and its importance
- Awareness of their well-being as a Mental Health First Aider
- Common mental health conditions
- How to support those experiencing poor mental health at work with tools such as active listening and non-judgemental support.
This Mental Health First Aid Training Course is available face-to-face and online.
What's Covered?
During this 2-day course, you will cover:
- Identifying characteristics and features of common mental health conditions.
- The Importance of your own well-being as a Mental Health First Aider.
- Best practices for employers in relation to mental health in the workplace.
- Supporting those experiencing mental health issues at work.
During the course, our trainers will provide an engaging learning experience through video, case studies, real-life examples of mental health issues, workbook activities, group discussions, and much more.
Prerequisites
Before applying for this course, please ensure you meet the following criteria:
You must be at least 18 years old on the first day of training.

Note: To remain an approved Mental Health First Aider in the Workplace, learners will need to update their Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF) every 3 years.
Cost
£2750 for up to 16 candidates.
2-day course – price includes complimentary course guide and workbook.
Workbooks will be sent to you via courier prior to the course start date.
This Mental Health First Aid Training Course is available face-to-face and online.
On completion of the 2-day QA Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF) qualification, you will receive 3 years of certification.
You will gain in-depth knowledge of mental health and tools to help you support your own mental health and that of your colleagues.
Upon successful completion of all of our courses candidates can choose to receive a free E certificate or a printed certificate at an extra cost of £12.50.
