Booking A Course
Accepting Your Booking
Our acceptance of your booking is confirmed once payment has been made at the time of booking via our website.
At this point, a contract is formed between you and us.
It is your responsibility to book the correct Training Course
You acknowledge you are responsible for selecting the correct course and check details are correct upon receipt of booking confirmation.
Your Rights To Make Changes
All requests to reschedule to another course and/or date to be received in writing and subject to availability will be accommodated on the following terms.
⦁ Full refund less 10 % administration fee – More than 4 weeks before the training course is due to commence.
⦁ Fixed fee of £50.00 – Between 2-4 weeks before the training course is due to commence.
⦁ 50% of Course Fee – Less than 2 weeks before the training course is due to commence.
Any rescheduling of bookings is not confirmed or completed until you have received in writing from us, confirmation of the training course date and/or venue.
Our Rights To Make Changes
Any significant changes to a training course e.g., cancellation, we will notify you and offer an alternative course or full refund.
We are not held responsible for any changes outside our control e.g., third-party venue/food but will always endeavour to address and rectify.
Unforeseen Circumstances
In the event that we need to make significant changes to the course or these terms, we will notify you and you may then contact us to change the date of the booking or transfer the booking to another individual at no cost.
VAT
All course fees are subject to the current rate of VAT (valid exemptions only).
Cancellation Policy
All requests to cancel a course booking are to be received in writing and will be treated on the following terms.
⦁ A full refund of Course Booking less 10% administration fee more than 4 weeks before a training course is due to commence.
⦁ NO REFUND – Less than 4 weeks before the training course is due to commence.
Acknowledgement of cancellation must be confirmed in writing to you, by us.
Payment
Payments should be made in full through our website shop and checkout stage unless an alternative payment date has been advised and agreed upon by us.

Training Courses
Dietary Requirements:
Where lunch is provided on courses, we require a minimum of two week’s notice of any dietary requirements in writing via e-mail at az.mhfa.instructors@gmail.com
Candidate Suitability:
⦁ Due to the nature of course content, the minimum age to attend all courses is 18.
⦁ All individuals attending courses are responsible to ensure they are free from any condition which would affect their capability to undertake the course and are able to cope with course content and study.
⦁ Candidates require a basic command of written and spoken English.
⦁ We endeavour to accommodate any extra support needs where possible, by request.

Expectations Of Trainer
Our Trainers:
⦁ The trainer will behave in a professional manner in line with A & Z MHFA values.
⦁ The trainer will deliver appropriate and accurate information.
⦁ The trainer will inform the candidates of the course content, length and scheduled breaks at the beginning of each course.
⦁ The trainer will ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order and used in a safe manner.
Training Course Information
Full joining instructions will be provided to you prior to the training course.
This includes workbooks and a link if the course is remote i.e., ZOOM or TEAMS links.
The workbooks will be sent directly to your address via courier.
It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure they have supplied the training centre with the correct details.
Removal From Course
We reserve the right to refuse any person to participate or continue to participate in a training course if the person is.
⦁ Does not meet the minimum age requirement.
⦁ Under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, in our reasonable opinion.
⦁ Behaves inappropriately and gives cause for concern for continued participation which may cause offence and/or injury to other candidates or self.
⦁ Racist or abusive behaviour.
⦁ Significant late arrival or sections of the course missed.
Removal from the training course will not entitle any refund.
Course Completion
Upon completion of the course of your choice, you will be awarded with the Course Certification.
Please note course certificates may only be issued to candidates completing the full course as scheduled and passing the course assessment.
Should you have missed any part of the course a certificate will not be issued.
However, you will be given an opportunity to re-sit the assessment at a later date.
